Aquastyle 9G 'Roots'
My Aquastyle 9g. Simple plants used. Just some petite anubias, lilaeopsis noveazelandiae, and hydrocotyle sib. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Looks great! The hydrocotyle s. looks good next to the anubias. I don't normally like tall tanks like this but you really used the dimensions to your advantage.

Really awesome hardscape! Personally, if this were my trank, I'd want to expose more of the hardscape just because of how nice it is. Maybe if you moved some of the plants downward it could improve the overall appearance, maybe putting the java fern on the rocks instead and some of the anubias further down the wood. Really looks good so far!

Thanks for the comments.
@ rainbuilder. I have to admit that the wood looks good but my intentions were to cover it up. Adding the anubias on top and leaving the mid to bottom of the tank open will help me showcase the anubias 'roots', hence the title 'roots'. Tank is still in its very early stage, so we will see what happens. |
