Cool shrimp! Any plans to separate it and try to breed that pattern?

actually it has very shiny black....almost like a BKK, and it looks soo much like one.

I didn't have too many options on what to breed it to, so I popped it in the Taiwan tank with the BKKs. If it crosses OK, maybe some new variations, if not nothing lost.

Its a male, and I know I have one BKK female (the mamma of my 6 week old baby BKKs) but I also have a CWB in this tank along with BBs, so there's a lot of possilbilites of outcrossing.

I didn't want to just leave it and not utilize whatever genes it has, its such a cool looking shrimp. After all isn't that what hybrids are all about a challenge

Does it have any clear gaps in it's body at all. Because to me if it is solid black and white could be a pinto..... Unless you are sure a tiger was involved

No gaps...solid black/solid white. Its actually a BTOE x CRS F2 generation hybrid.

I am sooo happy with this shrimp. I am hoping it will outcross with some of my other shrimps. Working on an experiment right now.

Black Tiger with Orange eyes to Crystal Red Bee is the origin of this particular shrimp.
