Misting vs Fogger for emersed setup

I'm planning to start my first ever emersed setup to grown crypts and some downoi. I know I need to keep the humidity high to have success. My question is if I have a mister setup to mist like 8 times a day, do I still need to have a fogger? Or can I get away either just a mister or fogger?

Misting is almost always better, foggers are more or less an aesthetic feature people like to add.

Does fogging helps to maintain the humidity in a tank? Or always continuous misting will maintain that?

Will you have a sealed top? If so, the standing water alone is generally enough to keep the humidity pretty high. If not, adding fog isn't going to help you too much I'm afraid. The more common open-top riparium plants that grow emergent don't require excessive humidity since they are constantly wet at the base.

Yes, the top will be sealed. Sounds good... Thanks for the advice.
