HELP PLEASE! Strangest occurrences of events

So this morning like all days I take a quick gander at my prized OEBT tank to look for any of the little guys my female OEBT released a few days ago with no avail. But here comes the part I need help/ advice... I saw her molt at the same spot it usually is but looking for her I couldn't find her. Finally I found her hanging upside down with part of her shell just behind the head where the start of where her saddle usually is a little flared to the side, torn outwards almost. Yet after class today she's berried again!!!! soooooo basically I would like to know her survival chances with a bad molt and now the added stress of being berried. If anyone coould help it'd be much appreciated.

There's a probability that she may drop the eggs to heal up.

I would say it just depends on if the bad molt bothers her or not. She may not even know. Unless another shrimp tells her or teases her about it!!

I've had some with weird molts carry eggs full term...well with PFRs anyway. I'm with rodcuda, it may depend on if it bothers her or impedes her activities in some way. I had an OEBT missing a leg and unable to walk well carry to full term, have the babies, molt and regrow all of her missing appendages and damaged antennae so stranger things have happened

I just thought I'd update... the female dropped the shrimplets last night and molted last night as well (actually got to see it happen for the first time, so cool!) And her shell has been fixed so good news all around!
