is my tank low tech or hi tech?

I have a 46 gallon bowfront tank with a marineland 60w led light. Thanks!

What definition are you using to define an aquarium as "high tech" or "low tech"?

If you are asking about lighting only, this thread written by Hoppy might prove to be useful for you.

A lot of people use a lot of different definitions. My definition of "high tech" is whether or not you are running pressurized CO2 regardless of how much light. A high tech tank can be a low to medium light setup as long as it's running pressurized, not DIY, CO2 -in my opinion.

IMO, high tech is pressurized co2 and dosing ferts. Low tech is diy co2 or no co2 and no fert dosing.
