Supreme Reds vs. Fire Reds

Who is keeping Supreme Reds and how do they compare tho the Fire Reds? I hear some people like the Supremes beter. What are the differences? Starting 4 new tanks (2 for Neos and 2 for Cardinas) and starting to think about what to stock them with!!!

Supreme Reds are a bit more of an orangey red when compared to the Fire Reds. I have seen zero difference in keeping them and currently have a mixed tank of them right now. I've had them in separate tanks before, sold off both colonies and these were the suckers that wouldn't get in the net the day I shipped them out. LOL!

Ok, then what I saw about the differences may have been less than accurate. I was going to be surprised if there was much difference in them. Sounds like they might be good to mix up and stengthen the gene pool.

Only thing I've noted is a slight color difference. Size is the same, clutch size the same, breeding habits the same, feeding habits the same. Obviously each person may have different experiences, those are just mine

I figured it was just another name referring to the same type. Seems to happen a lot in the shrimp hobby...one I can think of is the Blue Velvet, Blue Jelly,(High Grade) Blue Rili, etc.

A lot of people think that. Put them side by side and it's easy enough to see the color difference. They aren't the same thing.

theyre both solid from what i know some people say that supreme reds are all red but the legs while painted fire reds are all while others say its the color. supreme red will look more bright and vivid while painted fire is more of a dark red like medium rare steak haha
