PAR data for 48" DD and DB RAY2

Wondering if you have these available? any charts with 2 of each side-by-side? Looking for lighting for my SW tank. Tank is 20" high.

In your opinion, for a 48" tank, would a suspended 48" RAY2 have too much "spill over" past the tank? should I just get a 36"

The PAR data for all of the Ray2/FugeRay line is in a sticky at the top of this forum

here is the Ray2 in 48"

I don't think the color temp matters much. I would go with dual 6500k myself.

as for the spill over - how wide is the tank and how high are you suspending it?

Thats not for the DD or DB series. hopefully it doesnt matter much like you said. Just wanted to make sure before i buy

Tank is 48"h x 18"d x 20"h. Thinking about 6-12inches above is where I would hang it

My gut tells me I'll be fine with these lights to start. Realistically with a 2" sand bed, and the tank isnt full to the brim, I'm looking at just under 18" of water to penetrate through. looking at a chart needed for coral growth, mushrooms, zoo's and soft corals need 50-100 PAR (bottom of tank) LPS, clams and some SPS need 100-200 PAR (top of tank).

If I decide on going SPS, I'd need more lighting but also alot more other things would have to get upgraded or installed!
