Question

Tree root scape- Open for speculation || Photos and Videos

Here's my scape in an ADA 60-P.
Comments and critiques are welcome.

And yeah, my water parameters are-
KH- 3dKH
GH- 4dKH
TDS- 62 ppm

So if by looking at the scape, any plants come to your mind that will look good in the scape, please mention them.

i like the first scape better. i has good balance and once planted should have nice depth. but i do like how that larger lower piece of driftwood protrudes towards the front of the tank in the last scape

Nice! I haven't looked at the vid yet, but pic #4 is my favorite. I like the compositions best that have the base "roots" coming forward towards the viewer - they give a good feeling of depth. And I love the little curlicue spirals leading up & out of the tank. Fantastic pieces of wood!

Number 4. The arrangement of the wood looks great.

I personally like #5. If it was me, I'd get some Java moss and spread it along the top of those roots so that it's half out of the water, then maybe get a small philodendron and plant it in the fork up at the top. Phils love being able to run most of their roots into water.

My adventures in keeping Indostomus crocodilus, the crocodile toothpick fish. AKA armored stickleback, paradox fish, and freshwater pipefish. Care is (to the best of my knowledge) exactly the same as Indostomus paradoxus.

I like the base of number one best with the top of 4, however the top of 4 could easily be lost in plants or moss, so I'd extend the bottom over doing a fancy top.
