Does ANY female shrimp molting cause chasing? (different species)

I just had an Amano molt and all of my male tibees and my male CBS are running the tank looking for her. Since Amanos can't breed with either of those, why would they run? Does different species not matter when it comes to the 'scent' perhaps? Every single female is accounted for and happily munching, plus I witnessed the amano molt and the immediate chase by the males so there is no question as to who it is causing the commotion in there.

They are probably closely related enough that the pheromones are being noticed by all the males. Most likely, the same or very closely related compounds are being released.

It's just weird because when I had CRS with PFRs anytime a CRS molted it was just the CRS males swimming, same when a PFR molted it was just PFRs swimming.

Amano and tibee/cbs both caridina, they were probably thinking "dang, smells like a huge one this time guys, fan out and report back when you've spotted the target!"
