FTS Thread
So, it would be nice to see how much activity can be created here within the Indiana section. Just for fun and inspiration, if you have a picture of your tank(s), please post up a full tank shot.
Here's my most recent full tank shots of my tanks - New 29 gallon (20L sump/refugium not running yet) ![]() - Divided 10 gallon betta tank ![]() - 20 gallon (no longer high tech) ![]() - 29 hex blackwater (old shot, and hard to get good pictures)

Thanks! You've got some beautiful looking tanks and a nice setup for your fish room. Yeah, hopefully there will be more people who respond with some pictures.

Nice tanks everyone!
Here's the most recent of mine, even though it's a couple months old. I just did a big trim and added some Blyxa, so hopefully in another month everything will be back and filled in even more. (sorry for the bad cell phone pic) |

Thanks Knuggs. I had to look up what a Barclaya is. That would be a cool plant, but i dont have that one. The red plant that is right off center is a Aflame echindorous sp. Wild blood.

Tanks looking really good temple! Looks like you have been staying up on your scaping
Choas, I have never heard of the Aflame echindorous sp. Wild blood. Sorry but now I got all kinds of questions lol. I tried to look it up but didnt find much about it. How long have you had that? Is it the only one you have? Where did you get it? Has it always been that red? I know indiana water has a lot of iron in it so you prolly get alot of red from that. Is the new growth on it greener than the old leaves? How big does it get, like a regular sword plant?

Nothing too spectacular. Just my two adjacent, low tech, five gallon riparium setups, set up since October.
![]() ![]() ![]() The tank on the left houses 2 pairs of white cloud mountain minnows, 2 zebra nerite snails and a few pond snails. The tank on the right houses my male betta Larry, 3 pygmy corydoras and an olive nerite snail. Both tanks are planted with water wisteria, anubias barteri, anubias barteri var. nana, java fern, java fern var. Windelov. The left tank also has a small unidentified crypt, a moss ball, and a small, unidentified stem plant. The terrestrial plants include several kinds of pothos and philodendron, purple waffle plant, neanthe bella palm, goldfish vine, aluminum plant (pilea), creeping fig, and syngonium (arrowhead vine). The right tank also has a lot of amazon frogbit. Twice weekly doses of Flourish, weekly 50% water changes. Both tanks have 2 Aqua-tech 5-15 HOB filters which are quite heavily overgrown with plants now. |
