Some what new to the hobby and want to set up a shrimp tank.

Hello I am sorta new to the hobby and i want to set up a shrimp tank. I have a 10gal tank set up not with 4-Tiger barbs and java moss in it...this was my first tank it was deff a dumb buy at first because had no clue what i was doing (I deff did not start off with 4-tiger barbs ) but I have learned little since then but i am still 100% new. So my question is what would a new guy like me need to get started keeping shrimp with some low maintenance plants.

Right now I have a empty 10gal I want to use along with a hood and light.
What kind of stuff would I need. Like I said I pretty much a 100% new and I would like to start learning the "right way" by asking other people what to do.
