Plant Id Please

OK I have gotten the plant bug now. I was in a Pet Co yesterday and seen some nice plants in pots, and loose plants. Well the potted ones did not catch my attention as much as this large loose plant did. OK I have pics but Ill try to explain it a little. It has roots like a java fern, has a real stiff main limb and the leaves come off this limb. Its a little worse for where and I hope it comes out of it.
Ok heres the pics
For size comparision it is sitting on a standard sheet of printing paper

Ok after looking around I still aint sure because what leaves are left on my plant dont give the greatest idea of what the plant looks like fully leaved but Im going to shoot in the dark and say: African fern
Bolbitis heudelotti
It looks similar but I will await for a better knowledgable person to conferm it for me.
Thank You Shane

Make sure you don't plant, aka bury, the rhizomes. Tie them on to something and put these plants into a spot where the current washes over them. When they adjust to your water conditions the new fronds will be bright green.
