I got this tiny little seed shrimp in on some moss from a member too and now they are in 2 of my tanks. They do not do anything but feed on my moss in my pfr red tiger tank. I wish I never got them

When there is not enough food for them the tend to chew on the moss. I hate them!

I probably have asked before but can't find it, what camera/lens do you use for these pictures? Also, do you use a flash? if you do, is the flash place on top of the tank?

Whatever it is, they seem pretty dang happy with it. Frankly, the more I get into shrimp, the more I realize that K.I.S.S. really is the golden rule with them.

I have a sony f828 and just got a raynox dcr 150, will find a cheap flash to see if I can do a half decent job comparing to yours ;-)

Do you set up the flash on tank cover as the slave or your camera can trigger it with an extension? It's hard to find a flash that my sony can trigger directly, thinking to get a slave to be triggered by the on-camera flash, wondering how you set it up.

Seriously thinking to get a sony nex 6 and get a macro lens for it, but sony only has a 30mm macro lens for the nex series. Would like something > 60mm...
