GBR's with Bolivian Rams?
I have a 55g and was wondering if it would be ok to have a pair of Greman Blue ram's with a pair of Bolivian Rams? The other tank mates that I'm planing on is a group of 10-15 Pygmy Cory's 10-15 Chili Rasbora's and 6-10 Oto's.
Thanks in advance. Kory |

Might work in a 55. You never know though when it comes to spawning time.

Two pairs would be fine in a 55 but you are going to want them to go in the tanks as mated pairs. If you just put singles in they could cross-breed pair.

Blue Rams typically want a higher temperature than Bolivians, so you'd be keeping the Bolivians at the high end of their preferred temperature and the Blues at something at the low end of their preferred temperature. Honestly, I'd stick with one type of Ram. If you have Bolivians already, I would up their numbers a bit so you get a small shoal---they really appreciate their own company (except, of course, when breeding).

I'd toss out a recommendation for Bolivians, then---they're quite underrated and really fun to watch (and are typically more hardy than their Blue counterparts).
