Is my co2 being diffused properly?
Quick question. Could someone take a look at the video I just took of my tank and let me know if the co2 is being properly diffused? It is DIY CO2 with an airstone inside the intake of a powerhead.
In the video you will see super tiny micro-bubbles. I am wondering if at this state the co2 is helping my plants or if it is just being wasted. Thank you! http://youtu.be/VOL-2YUyOf0 |

Looks fine to me, Don't expect an impact right away though. I didn't start to see a difference in plants until the 1week-2week mark

Air stone is working quite well, A... I get the same results from my ceramic/glass diffuser. R.sok is on the nose with timeframe on results...

Thanks for the input folks.
Okay here is the weird thing, I woke up this morning to find one of my red devil cichlids in the tank dead. I haven't lost a fish in ages (at least 9 months) due to poor water or anything. Do you think the co2 here might have done it? |
