Maechael good luck on the berried ghost shrimp. I like my guppies but eventually the ones I have in my 10g I won't because they'll be to many.
Got light nice to see you have alittle of both worlds fresh and SW breeding.

WOOP's.... I forgot all about my African Cichlid days back in the late 80's
(back when nearly all African Cichlids sold in stores were wild-caught) I forget which ones did end up breeding , but I remember I could never get my Frontosas to breed (mouth-brooders are so easy to breed.... they do most of the work themselfs

I've never cichlids, but if I did I think I would probably try GBRs.

IMHO and experience.... the easiest fish you could breed in an aquarium are:
Bangi Cardinals (mouth-brooders) They are sooo tuff.... I used to raise them in my overflows until they were big enough to sell/trade. They would get sucked into my 2 overflows as babies, then I would just leave them in there. They would do just fine & grow fast with zero attention from me. The 1'st time...I grew out' a dozen in my overflows before I even knew they were in there

Separate the males and the females as soon as you can, no more guppy Fry haha.
I'm looking to get some RCS/CRS at some point soon, wish I had more money for the endeavor. Would love a dual tank setup for a start in a breeding program.
