Need help on growth of plants.
My baby tears aren't growing like thay should, they seem slow to get started and its taking forever for them to take root. I have to replant some bunches constantly!
I also have a problem with mayaca. I love the look of this stem and want it to be a success but its just not working, it stunted right after I put it in my tank and the new growth is really small and flimsy. the leaves don't spread out like I would hope. I am purposefully not telling my tank specs becuase I want you guys to guess what is wrong just by looking at the pictures.

What's your dosing regime? Is the tank supplemented with CO2? How long have you had the plants?

Again, I'm purposefully not telling my tank specs because I want to hear what people have to say based on the pictures and the look of the plants

How's your lighting? It could be too low lighting for those plants. Not to discount other suggestions.

Too little lighting doesn't appear to be an issue since there's algae on the substrate (I always had problems with algae on my substrate with too much light), but I could be wrong in this case (maybe the light cycle is too long?). I think there may be too much light. My discus tank had a problem growing dwarf hairgrass similar to the OP's baby tears because I was using my old metal halide from my reef tank; I kept having it come out of the substrate and it never took off, but as soon as I changed it to a lower-wattage system, they grew pretty well. I also switched from a DIY CO2 setup to a pressurized system and had all the portions sending out runners within a week.
As far as the mayaca goes, I never kept the plant, so I'm not too sure. I do know that if there is an iron deficiency in the tank, then the shoots of the plant will be pale yellow/almost white, but that doesn't appear to be the case with your tank. Maybe another nutrient problem or not enough CO2 in the water? Without you giving us some info on the tank, we could sit here throwing out ideas until the sun comes up, but you'd definitely get a faster response if you did, just my suggestion though: if you don't want to, then that's perfectly okay as well

Since we are just guessing, I would wager that deer are grazing your tank at night unbeknownst to you. Perhaps some LED moonlights will scare them away.

So hear are my specs,
Light I have 2 t5HO for about nine hours, then a burst period of 4 t5HOs for about 3 hrs Co2 is pressurized and my bubble counter is at about 6-8 bps with a rexx reactor. The ppm is at 30, I'm checking with the ph oh chart My frets are dosed estimative index and I try to keep my nitrates at 5-10, phosphates at 2, and potassium ?? I have Eco complete and root tabs in the substrate as well. Ph-6.5 when co2 is on Kh-2 Gh-4

I may have missed it, but what is the size of your tank?
