Need help! ID please?
Hi all,
I just bought a pair of juvenile angelfish, and the LFS had no idea what strain they were. I think they are Smokey Pinoy, but i could be very mistaken. Got them for 7 dollars both. ID please? |

I have one angelfish that looks almost identical to yours, and I was told s/he is a smokey blue angelfish, so that'd be my guess for these two.

Not only that, but they might qualify for being half blacks, or at least have it in their genetics somewhere.
Those are really nice angels though, and of course I love any fish with a hint of blue in it.

Looks like a cross between smokey half-black and pinoy or Philippine blue. Those will be real pretty fish as adults.

Wow! Thank you guys! The LFS guy was clueless about these and sold them REAL cheap. I haven't seen anymore of these strain of angels in any other local store. I may have gotten the very last ones!
