stoped by fairmout today after work and they had what apear to be blue chery shrimp. I purchased quite a few of the blue shrimp but they still have about a dozen left and some green ones.

they also have about a dozen assasin snails about the size of a pea and larger

just a heads up

Check out the Tropical Fish Emporium in Auburn(159 Hardenburg Avenue)
....if u ever get over that way. They usually have a nice selection of healthy(no algae) plants.Last i checked they had a bigger selection than syracuse aquarium and fairmount. No c02 supplies tho =(

Thought I'd reactivate this thread.
I have been keeping planted tanks for well over 15 years now. Recently I am considering a move to saltwater tank and have a bunch of plants that I'd hate to throw away and would be willing to part with folks who are interested. I would be willing to bring them to the next CNYAS meet.
Please let me know if there is any interest.

+1. I don't think much has changed there since I started going in the 80s. same technology (Aquamaster PME on most tanks) and selection, poor building upkeep (thought my kid might fall through bad spot on the floor, LOL!). but best selection in the area, if you're near 13021.
