Bugs? Pests? Help


Im having lots of bugs swimming around my tank... How do you control them?

The first step is to identify these bugs. Are they actual insects, or worms in the water? Or perhaps they are copepods?

Unfortunately lots of us learn to live with copapods in the shrimp tanks. In fish tanks they get eaten so you hardly ever see them.

Ya don't flip out. Bugs are usually a good sign that your tank is on the right path to being a "natual" environment. Or your overfeeding and not cleaning up the leftovers

Be sure to check out the sticky at the top of the forum. There is a thread to help identify fauna in the aquarium and tell you if it's harmful or not.
