Dragon's Lair


Tank : 12x8.5x9.5 inch
Total volume : 15 Lts effective volume : 12 lts.
Substrate : Seachem Flourite
Rocks : Lava rocks
Filter : Dazs HOB 80 lts/hr.
Flora: lilaeopsis brasiliensis, hydrocotyle tripartita and fissidens fontanus
Fauna : Guesses !

Concept is a Dragon's lair
Imagine rolling grassy meadows and in front of a mountain with some decimated trees and the abode of a dragon !








Background will be in place by tomorrow, a moss wall using Fissidens Fontanus.

Update: Moss wall with Xmass moss is up at the back, Some tree stumps are in with mini fissidens on them. Now have to wait for the tank to settle down. Will post pics later in the night.

I like it too, it will be interesting to see how it looks when it has grown in some.

I'm personally a sucker for bright red cherry shrimp (Sakura, or painted fire red grade).

What kind of lighting do you have?
I was wondering how you grew that
micro- sword? I have Eco-complete
and root tabs, do you think I'll be
able to grow micro-sword in an outdoor
tank?

The lighting is a 23 watt CFL -E27 bulb. No CO2. No idea about how it will react in an outdoor tank.

outdoor tank should work fine..but please keep it under diffused sunlight otherwise a normal fert dosing regiem would be needed

Abhi what I can think of is - Dario Dario..you can get that easily from Andrew da..reason - their body colour will match exactly with the hardscape enhancing both their beauty..

Yes I'm keeping it under a fine mesh so
humidity can stay in for my orchids.
It still gets light 10-14 hours a day.

Thanks guys ! Abhra liked your idea, gonna pick some from guys here. Will add some shrimps too the mix of 1 male and 2-3 female. Earlier thought of keeping a Plakat, but then would look big for this setup.
