Finished installing my lights

Oops sorry, I guess I missed those. Why will this make it hard to install the fan? If you drill a hole on each end ot install the fan, will this not be out of the way?

Ahh, icic. I actually wanted to cut out a section large enough to fit the fan in the canopy. BTW, how did you wire the fan? Did you need a computer power supply unit?

No not at all. I simply spliced the fan wires into the wire powering my lighting. It is really handy, since the fan now goes on and off with my lights which is on a timer.

It is worthwhile to note:

Nice, is that a 75g? What temp. bulbs do you have? I was going to buy the 4x55, but I figured out it will cost me more because I would have to make a hood. But I found a kit that you just snatch on to the frame of the aquarium, it comes built-in with 3 fans and produces 260watts! By the way, do you have a piece of glass between the water and the lights?

Raul: It's a 100 gallon tank. I've seen what you're talking about, but none of those setups fit my tank. As for having a piece of glass between the water and the lights, I don't have anything yet. However, I am planning on putting a piece of acrylic there in the near future.

Fender: Thanks again. BTW, would you be able to tell me just how to go about splicing wires?
