The problem with Red Sox fans is they spend more time worrying about and hating the Yankees than they do rooting for thier team. :P Ask most Red Sox fans if they hate the Yankees and they'll all say yes. Ask any Yankees fan if they hate the Red Sox and most will tell ya, "not any more than any other team." Red Sox fans enjoy hating the Yankees more than they enjoy loving thier Red Sox. It's an envy thing

Almost forgot....... PEDROS A PUSSY!!!

Now 4-1, I'm hoping for the Marlins sake that the Red Sox pull it off!

About the whole pedro vs. zimmer issue. I wouldn't say Pedro overreacted, but there was alot he could have done instead of what he did do. He should have simply stepped out of the way and let the old man trip over himself. :?

I thought the Red Sox had it. With all due respect, I gotta say that Pedro Martinez is the best pitcher I've ever seen. And he's probably the toughest pitcher the Yankees have faced in a long time.

Wow, what an amazing game.....nail biter

Sorry, but I gotta say it - that chump, Pedro, cost them that game. Coach comes up and asks him if he thinks its time to come out of the game. "Nope, no way. I'm good."
The same stubborn pride that kept Pedro from just coughing up some sort of apology for throwing Zimmer to the ground is the thing that lost Boston a shot at the World Series. Talent or not, the guy wants all the glory to himself and after throwing 119 pitches, he knew he was starting to throw off.
Yeah, that game 4 thing is over-rated. I just think Pedro could have held his hand out at arms length and kept old man Zimmer from coming anywhere near him. No need to abase the man and toss him. And once Zimmer apologized, it was the gentlemanly thing to do, to return the favor.

Oh well, the Mystique did it again. I thought the Red Sox had it, and I was ready to give it to them, with all due respect. But after seeing Pedro give up those four runs to tie the game, I knew they were goners.

Fifty bucks says every Sox fan becomes an instant Marlin fan, though! Marcel's right. Sox fans hate the Yankees more than love the Sox. Similarly, Cubs fans are too obsessed with their "curse" to focus on winning games. What makes it easy for the Yankees is that they've got nothing to prove.

That was the thing that was supposed to be different about these Red Sox. This was supposed to be the first real, cohesive bunch of players. No real egos. It is funny how they got burnt by the same old mentality in the long run.
