Finnex LED and a 72 gallon bowfront
I have been looking at 48" T5 HO lighting for my 72 gallon bow front tank. The tank is 23" deep. I am wanting to go medium to low light with plants. So can someone help me understand just how many Finnex Ray II Ultra Slim LED DS - Dual 7000k lights I would need?
Thanks |

I'm running one of these on my 72 and I LOVE IT!
I'm getting a PAR of around 50 to 60 at the substrate. It's not high light, but I wouldn't want to run that much light without CO2! I say do it, you will love it too! |

Only one unit would be needed. Pending what you plan on stocking your tank with, I would even suggest the FugeRay if you're looking for lower level lighting. |

Plus your tank should be more like 19 to 21 inches deep with your substrate.
