What's going on with my plants!?! Help!

55 gallon, (#2)

I started it a couple months ago. Here are the basics:

Turface MVP
Nova Extreme 54Wx2 light for 7 hours a day
Pressurized CO2 at max point (any slight adjustment and fish are stressed)
EI dosing, started 3 weeks ago
Not overly heavily planted

So in my mind I should be able to grow anything I wanted. But some are acting very peculiar. Please take a look at the pictures. The algae aside, the leaves on the plants I pictured are coming in very small and jagged on one, almost as if eaten or deformed on the other, then on the creeping charlie they are kind of smallish and curled, and all look very different from all the older growth (perhaps emersed vs. submersed, i could get that)

Do you guys have any thoughts on what's going on? I have a bunch of other beginner plants that are growing grea - rotala sp. green, corkscrew vals, wisteria, e. tenellus, ruffle swords. I planted the plants in the pictures all about a month ago or so.

Thanks for your thoughts!

My best guess is too much light, possibly too little CO2 (don't know much about that), cause of algae possibly too much extra light. Check ferts anyway.

Im not sure about the leaves it does look like something is eating them. May want to take a peek at night a few hrs after the lights go out to see whats going on. I also had a problem with the algae on the sides of my leaves and like you I had the co2 as high as I could put it with out killing the fish. I added more flow and moved my co2 where it was sitting right under my filter so the co2 was more evenly spread through out the tank. That really helped with my problem. Good luck and keep us updated

I did consider that my clown pleco could be munching on the leaves but it would still not explain the weird stunted growth...

brand new light... 2 months old bulbs. I only have MTS (at least those are all i can see). And yes, it definitely does look to me like those in the first picture are being eaten. Still, I'd like to understand why the other plants aren't growing great...
