I used krylon plastic fusion on PVC today for a separate project and found that is was terrible. The rust oleum for plastic worked 10x better for half the price. I can't say its safe for aquarium use though.

i was also looking for a canister for my 12g Long recently. i went back and forth and read as many reviews as i could on the fluval, eheim and marineland brands, even looked on youtube.
bottom line is, they all are good products. there will be both good and bad experiences across all brands. i ended up going with an eheim 2213, its been up and running for almost two weeks now, it is very quiet and provides very nice flow and very clean water. good luck.

Thanks, but still. Why green? Do they think it looks like a plant? All other manufacturers that I know of either have black or clear. Most black. Eheim also sells the separate in/out kit, but even that's not black it more like a grey. Most people either have no background or have a black one.
