gotta give a nice shout out to Jimmy. he hooked me up with some gorgeous tigers and some equally awesome yellow shrimp. unfortunately, i was unable to take them right home, so they sat in my cold shop near my space heater all day. the yellows are great. tigers didn't make it i am really believing that i am not supposed to have tiger shrimp!!!

btw, Jimmy, what kind of guppies are they in your spec?? i want some!!!!

Tony, i can do fissidens anytime. That stuff is like a weed in my tank. Literally. It has gotten on every single piece of wood in my tank. And i only smeared it on the rock when i did my dry start.,

Edit: sorry, blyxa will be a few weeks, more like a month. Got anything new and exciting?

Hi everyone. New to the forum. Looking for snails(MTS, ramshorn and/or nerite), shrimp and some bristlenose. I'm in the Lehigh Valley. Anyone have a ready-to-go algae squad for me? I have some not-so-spectacular trades, but cash is king, right?

where in the lehigh valley are ya? I head up to my parents in effort/saylorsburg every other weekend. I have blue pearl shrimp and ramshorn snails.

i set up a tank by window no light , 2 diy co2 , lots of potassium
2inch java fern 8 leaves - 10 weeks later BANG! became like this
im gonna make lots lots lots of this

I've never been able to grow java fern. I did know it seems to like less light though since it grows better in a dark bucket than in my tanks. Adding potassium and co2 eh? Hmmm....Maybe I'll give it a try.

Yeah man....java loves lower light levels and potassium. It grows crazy big in my 75.

Anyone ever used super glue to attach anubias or java fern to wood? I've heard it's completely safe because it dries so quickly, but you can understand why I would be hesitant.

Seeing that picture of java fern makes me want to throw some in the 75 with the anubias One of the few large pieces of anubias I tied down came untied. Frustrating considering I tie 1 piece on every week and I'm not getting anywhere with it.
