Sharing CO2 between two tanks
Could I use a T-Valve or a gang valve to split the CO2 output? I know you're supposed to use a dual stage regulator with two needle valves, but I really don't want to spend any more money.

I won't work very well. You probably won't get an even split between the two. The gas will fallow the path of least resistantance.

+1. You will need two needle valves.

You could make an in-line manifold with smc needle valves for about $25. That's about as cheap as you could do it with 1/2 way decent parts.

You can get a T from your local hardware store.
The needle valves will have to be sourced online, most likely.

Obsessed? Maybe

Yep, a manifold is pretty cheap. Needle valves should range from $5-$8 on eBay. Sometimes I've seen them at 5 for $15 as a package deal.
