Will my madagascar lace die?

I think I read here somewhere (can't find the post) that after the madagascar lace flowers, the plant dies. Is that true?

Untrue.
It has been my observation that if it flowers and the water Temp is 76F or Higher it *may go dormant for a period of time. The Leaves all wither but the bulb should stay active and it should grow again. but I have one that never goes dormant.
