thats what i thought...the thing is the glass was crystal clear...once i dosed the kh2po4 a few hours later i noticed green spotted algae all over the front of the glass :l. o well

I'm still letting the wood dry completely, so it's still empty. Though i haven't decided if I am actually going to set it up(I wouldn't know what to put in it). My wife would kill me if I set up another tank any ways(at this current moment).

I really wanted to do discus but most people have said that i would need some thing bigger. One person said a breeding pair could work but I am not sure since I keep reading that a 55g is minimum. So Id rather just get a bigger tank for discus.

yeah, that frogbit is a beast...lol you should ask Discusonly in the philly section. he'll point you in the right direction when it comes to discus. too much work for me....LOL

I kinda have given up on them. I know a person who had discus in with goldfish so I think the "work" is a bit exaggerated. I know this first hand with keeping reefs.

For me, I kinda view that as a good thing considering I have dual bulb t-5 HO on my tank with no CO2. Only bad thing is the roots can hang so low.
