How fast to increase CO2 level?
Since upgrading to a power diffuser, My drop checker turns yellow-green in half (10am - ~2:30pm) the time it used to take the ceramic diffuser (lots of waste there). I run an airstone at night, for peace of mind, meaning the tank more or less starts fresh in the morning.
Is it better to increase the CO2 level as quickly as possible and let it sustain throughout the lighting period, or is it better for that level to gradually increase through the day? Relevant Parms and Specs: 29 gal tank Medium-High light (Ray 2) Photo period 10:30am - 9:30pm Heavily planted (slow - medium growers, stem plant heavy) Inert gravel + some fluorite Pfertz dosing + iron chelate suplement

Does your regulator have a solenoid? Is your CO2 running at night as well?

Yep, has a solenoid, off at 2:30ish, depending on how the drop checker looks
