also i hate how without a canopy the light spreads out away from the tank alot more lightin half the room , obviously depending on the distance it was raised, and if u need to get to ur lighting that often something is wrong with the setup in my eyes, the only thing i like in the tank is intake and output. nothing else when it comes to equipment i side with the looks that most of the ada tanks do. but i like it through the bottom with bulkheads with pvc and have the scape hide them. |

as for lighting /canopy my other tanks have T5HO and my 40 has LEDs. I love planted tanks but my main focus on the tanks are my Angels. |

Can you post any pics of that? I was planning a 10 gallon quarantine tank for mine to keep in the stand, petsmart has a very basic 10 gallon kit that I imagine will work. I'd like to see how someone else has that done. Thanks |

Probably not even planted... I'm talking as simple as can be... Gravel and PVC in it for fish to hide in, just a holding tank for quarantine, nothing for show.

Thanks for the props, guys...always a work in progress! That's the fun isn't it?!
Kayen, I think you mean this one: http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/my...e_verticillata That plant grows explosively and propagates via runners. If I neglect it for 2+ weeks I have to get it out from behind spray pipes, the intakes, off the tank edges. I love it's looks though. I would love to look at your tank(s) but I have a DNS block on my work machine that won't let me see photobucket pix. Draconian things... |
