Rotala mexicana

Am having trouble growing R. mexicana emersed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Currently using high light levels, acid substrate, ferts and 78F and RO water Other emersed plants such as L. senegalensis and L. 'Pantanal' are doing fine, even blooming frequently.
Not sure why this one specie is giving me such a problem.
Suggestions, please.

Which type? I've had success growing Rotala mexicana 'green' emersed in low humidity, but the 'goias' and 'araguaia' variations don't seem to do as well... they definitely like high humidity.

It is the green form. It is in high humidity.
Could it be getting too much light? Some of the tips have turned reddish.
