Any Colorado Springs folks?

Hi there,
I'm new to the forum and the hobby. Anyone in Colorado Springs? Anyone with plants they'd like to sell? I've got my first big tank and I'm eager to get it going. Thanks.

I grew up down there but moved to Denver. If i have trimmings or something some time i'll drop you a PM. Not sure if you've been there but there's an LFS off Academy and Union that i've bought plants from.

Yep, Seascape Aquatics--bought a bunch from them. Nice store, friendly and helpful, but pretty pricey. Thanks. And I certainly welcome any stray trimmings. :-)

Best bet would be buying from the swap and shop here on TPT or aquabid. LFS are decent here sometimes, the one i prefer is still a good 45+ minutes away up in Boulder, from the Springs...oh no!

I am not in Colorado springs (northglenn actually) But if I ever have any trimmings available I can always make a little bit of a trip to say Ikea maybe a bit further south to get some to you. I am in a holding pattern as I build my stash for the incoming 40B setup. But after I get that sucker up and running I am sure I will have something available. Welcome to the forum too!

What exactly are you looking for? If you are interested in bits and pieces to grow out I have lots of those.
I have quantities of dwarf sag and java fern these days. I am in Centennial.

Thanks for all the replies--though I'm surprised that I seem to be alone in the Springs.

There's more and more people as you go further north. Bruce and myself are a couple in southern Denver, more and more members as you keep going up.

I used to live in Boulder so I'm familiar with the belief that the center of culture is to the north of Denver :-)

Just moved to fountain back from Texas, my buddy asked me to come back up here to set up his planted tank section in his store.Got plenty of plants.
