+1.

From the ad, it seems he is selling the broken blender together with the fish, in which case, the fish will be in there for some time. Space wise, oxygen wise, water quality wise, it is going to kill the fish before this thing is sold.

Maybe i missed it in the add, but does he say it's where he keeps the goldfish, or where the goldfish could be housed?

It's just a pitiful albit somewhat funny marketing ploy.

Whether he keeps it in there or not if his marketing ploy is successful the new owner (dupe) will use it as such. Never underestimate the ignorance of someone that would buy a broken blender.

Yeah I'm with you, I find it kind of amusing and creative, then again I have a warped sense of humor, use to like joe's cartoons with frog in a blender and such lol.

Yeah thats CL for ya, its a plethora of shady ads enough to induce a shrugapaloza.

Heck in CL I see more used tanks listed @ higher than retail price (come on $99 for a used 10G leader with a rusted steel stand?) my eyes keep rolling back you'd think I was a slot machine.

Agreeing with the above!
To those who think it's still humorous - Hello? Have any of you actually used a blender? The blades are like razor blades - the fish will go down to look for food or explore at some point, even if it's only in there for the photo shoot. The sound & vibration is extreme. I think flagging the post or annoying the seller is perfect. There are too many morons in this world (and I am referring to the seller). If only we could take them out like on The Walking Dead.

I agree and encourage anyone else who feels likewise to text/call the seller to complain as well. Share stories here as well.

People do stupid stuff to animals all the time, why don't we string up people who dress their animals up on halloween? I mean they could get tangled up and choke! Heck come after me, I've stored my fish in my coffee pot for an hour while I fixed their tank. Putting a goldfish in a blender for a few minutes didn't hurt it, the blades aren't that sharp (at least mine isn't lol then again it's from the 70's). It's just a cute little joke in my opinion no reason to get bent out of shape. Just take it like it is, have a chuckle and move along.

This whole thing is common in occurrence, but very sickening. Whether it is meant to be a joke or not doesn't matter.

It's not even funny.

I am going to hire that guy as a sales person for my company. If he can sell broken things imagine what he can do with state of the art equipment.

PS. Funnier than the add is the reaction. And the irony!
