Visited the new lfs on fresh pond road in queens. They had blue platies for $2.99 ea.
Sorry didn't catch the name of the shop. They are still setting up shop.

Aye I been there couple of times too . Also worth mentioning is that they have CPDs $3.99 each. At least they had them both times I was there. They guy told me they always order those , but not always get them.

Frank's Aquarium also sells them. He's based in long island but may be able to meet at the aquarium.

They have sterbai corys..3 for 12 or 13? can't remember exactly
Pea puffers...3 for 8 dollars
White cloud minnows...1.50 or 3 for $3!!!

World Class Aquarium had nice looking Rummy Nose for 1.99 ea.
and really nice looking black diamond barbs, didn't look at the price.
Flatbush Ave Brooklyn.
I asked him if he could get me some pygmeous cory's and he just said no and shook his head, really?! Anyone in Brooklyn or LI see them anywhere lately?

Went to Pacific today, saw some impressive Gouramis

Dwarf Gourami 3/$6
Red Flame Gourami 3/$14

Rose Badis 3/$14 (a bit pale, need some TLC)

Went to wins... Just in town for a concert... Win's was a complete waste of time.. Sorry to say.... Polysperma did look nice though :-)

Rubberlip plecos /bulldog plecos at petco 86nlex for $5. Very good plecos for smaller tanks.
