Acrylic Sheets
Does anyone know of a place in connecticut that sells either acrylic sheets or scrap acrylic that is 1/4in-1/2in thick? I'm looking to try building my own tanks but i need the acrylic.
So if anyone has the acrylic or knows where I can get it please let me know. |

Not in CT, But try Plastic Works in New Rochelle,NY. I don't have their number handy but they have and can make all kinds of stuff. They are right off exit 16 an I95.

I made some purchases here. Good product, good price. They can sell you the acrylic sheets or can fabricate pretty much anything. They're not an aquarium shop but a plastics fabricator specializing in marine applications.

Make sure you buy cast acrylic. The stuff at home depot and lowes is not good quality stuff. Greta for making baffles in sumps, but that's about it. I usually buy mine from estreetplastics.com or delviesplastics.com
the shipping is what kills ya though. |
