Hallucinations. You are overdue for another taste.
I will take you up on that sir. I would love to see your dog that is larger than myself. The lady and I just moved to a new house so I am super busy but sometime soon.

No you don't Amanda, Multiple Tank Syndrome is a very expensive and time-consuming disease to battle with.

Sure you only start with two, but then you build up to three, then four, by five you've run out of room to put the tanks, so you start placing them around the house in corners and on shelves.

It isn't until your eighth tank that you realize what your spouse has been complaining about for the past 4 months, and by the time you hit ten tanks you'll realize it isn't ever going to stop, so you start drawing up plans for a fish room and pretty soon you've got dozens of tanks sitting on shelves that reach the ceiling, all the while wondering when it got out of control.

True story.

AVN that sounds terrible! Like hoarding almost. It feels like sufocating with just one though. I have so many species of fish, plants, scapes etc in my mind and I can't do anything with it because my hands are tied with just one. I have found somewhat of an outlet for my "hidden MTS" (hidden because I keep the mulitples in my head ) I have tons of scapes layed out on paper. 2 would relieve some of this pressue If it weren't for my husband I would porobably be on overload with tanks. He is the sensible one between the two of us. I just wish I could get his good sense to allow for one more; a 180 gallon beauty. I could do a lot more with a 6' tank than I can with a 4' tank. And I know just the spot for it. Already been measured! It would make for a perfect fit.

That's how it starts, that's how it always starts...

You say "I'll be good with just ONE more!"

Then you get inspired and you dream up scapes that are even more magnificent than the last, or you find some fish you would LOVE to keep or breed, and then you get another tank.

and another... and another... and another...

Pretty soon you'll be like me, asking your other if you can dig a several thousand gallon pond in the front yard in place of a lawn, and you'll promise that you'll keep it algae free, but really all you're going to do is buy a pump with a UV light built in and stock it full of snails and Otos.
