Baby tear is very expensive , difficult to take care, it needs strong light and Co2
If you really want buy it, then you can try to look on ebay

they have some at Pacific, however its kinda expensive. imo, buy it online its alot cheaper and you get more. He could grow it emersed at first and then just take some pieces and put it into his tank.
