Went over to Pets warehouse in Copiage this afternoon, it is worth stopping in if you are making the trip out here. They have the largest selection of plants i have yet to see in a lfs in suffolk.

Is there any plan for time yet? I am assuming late afternoon/night?

First meet up location will be pets warehouse on glen cove road in carle place at 10am.. No matter where you are coming from, make your way there by 10am. 1020am at the latest.

To set expectations, the drive to carle place from flushing takes 35-40 min without traffic. The drive between carle place and lindenhurst and carle place takes 40 min. there are 3 lfs stops before arriving at franks aquarium in lindhurst by noon.

Everyone has been asked to speak up regarding needing and providing rides. Trailmix and ecotanker are coming from Brooklyn though not sure where specificcally so those close by ought to coordinate accordingly. Likewise for those in queens.

more of the details off the facebook event page to be posted... here.

Here are some folks tentative in attendance:

From Brooklyn
  • ecotanker
  • sonicpath
  • sunyang730
  • Trail_Mix
  • VivaDaWolf

From Queens
  • acitydweller - douglastn/littleneck
  • cprash - ridgewood
  • heartnet - elmhrst
  • kubalik - middlevillage
  • Monsterfish - bellerose

It would be ideal for people to meet up at a location or two and arrange a carpool for each borough. The driver would be compensated for fuel, some plants and smiles.

I'm going to have to come up with something crafty to get out of work and go, sounds like it's going to be good.

I don't get off unless I'm dying, and then they wonder why I don't get better for six weeks.

hhhmmmmm, why do i have to have class friday mornings?

I'm really just looking to stop by Frank's with the group. I'll be back in Lindenhurst about 1:30. Sounds like you might be passing through earlier though :/

Sorry not trying to be difficult, if you are stopping at Frank's about the same time I get home, awesome; if not, no big deal

If anyone wants to pickup plants from me I can meet you all at Pets Warehouse in Carle Place, but then have to go back to work.

Already taking off Monday and Tuesday next week :^(

Country Critters is a very interesting store, last time I was there they had plenty of dart frogs! Very awesome fish in that place :^)
