I hope you get those shrimp tanks back up. I loved those yellows i saw when I was over there. I know your pain though. My male German blue ram committed suicide by leaping out of my tank. He was my prized fish. Got my single female 3 new suitors tho. Hoping she pairs up with one and they get it on soon.

Man, that's like a german ram gangbang!!! Lol yeah, losing the shrimp was discouraging to say the least, but i took a break from them for a bit. Slowly but surely i will bring them back.

Yeah i know it should be the other way around but i couldnt find anymore females so i hope this bass ackwards arrangement works out. no fighting yet which is a good sign, but it's too soon to tell if its gonna be a problem or not. Did you lose anything else besides the shrimp from the RAID massacre? lol

barely anything survived. i had already got my fish new homes. but i did lose a pair of pacific blue eyed rainbows

all the shrimp died and i lost most of my plants. the ones that did survive are currently in my 75

well, it is what it is. i was upset at first (of course) and it took me a couple of days to figure out what happened, but i didn;t really get upset with her. i mean, she didn't know. how could she? so i took a break for the summer, started raising frogs, and now i have a new hobby that compliments this one!! gonna start me a carnivorous plant terrarium after the new year

Good to hear man. You definitely gotta put up some pics of that project when you get it started. I'd love to see how that progresses. I'm always trying to get new ideas for my tree frog terrarium

Promised a friend in PA that I would upload a pic of his RCS/Java Moss tank, which thrives with neglect. Just wanted to see what kind of response it would receive, and yes that java is very dense, completely stuffing this 10g.

I am either getting too old (likely) or losing my mind (also likely)... but if you had asked me how long I've been back into the hobby, I would in no way say it was just 5 weeks... it already feels like a year.

This is the change over the past 27 days, and I've filled 6 RAOK packages, and pulled out enough plants to start a 75 gallon.

If anyone local is interested in some cuttings, just let me know and it'll be done.
