Spray bar or nozzle for return (from sump)? Need Advice ASAP
Need some advice on if i should make a spray bar from 1/2" pvc or use a nozzle. The back of the tank is spray painted black so either one should blend right in. Got a crazy stupid return pump (up to 620 gph) so it shouldnt have a problem with a spray bar that is like, 2-3 ft long. The sump is fed from a drilled overflow... Would like some advice before tomorrow. Any cons to having a spray bar in the refugium?

what size tank?
what filter? are you running CO2? If so, is it distributed through the filter discharge? I have a 6 ft 125g. Running a FX5. i built a spraybar that is 5 ft long. i run my co2 through an inline reactor. I have GREAT flow and most inportantly, IMO, i have GREAT EVEN co2 distribution throughout the entire tank because of the spraybar

i prefer a single return nozzle. i feel like that has provided a better flow in my tank. its nice and gentle but covers everthing
i have a sump on mine as well
