I would consider it the optimum since it saves you money according to your first post, but then I'm kinda cheap so compare the three and weight all advantages you see. Go with the one that's best for your particular situation including cost/effectiveness for plant growth/energy efficient, and so on.

Looks is last in my book as they can all be covered up to look better.
