If by MDS you mean Mineralized Dog "S" = Poop, that would be basically straight fertilizer. I think it would be to strong in marco content and too week in micros.

DAY 335

Since the last pic. I've sold the Echinodorus 'Ocelot', shut down the Whiskey Barrel pond for the season, moved Echinodorus 'Paul Kloecker' back into the tank.
The E. Paul K did get some good root growth but my photo period outside was on the decline at that point.

Also from the pond a few C. Cilatia and a trio of Cherry Barbs.

I put in a few Crypts of questionable identity that RazorWorm and I both for our tanks bought at the GCCA Swap.

The Oak Leaves are more for cover than tannins as the Rams don't care for all that open space.

This is so hilarious, I can't help but subscribe.

I have 4 dogs that I trained to poop in one pile, so this strikes very close to home for me, perhaps I'll make some doggypoo substrate to sell on the forums.

I'm going to have to try this with my own poop! How do you suggest I change my diet in order to get the best nutrients for the tank? I was thinking lots of spinach, kale, bananas, and perhaps a filet mignon every night for a week... thoughts?

I think a guy from Brooklyn might die if he ate a vegetable . Better just stick with eating slices and "Gabagool". Who know maybe pepperoni poop will make super MTS.

Forget about it!

Human poop has more bacteria than animal poop. You might not want to do that at all. You tank will become a toilet.

While Trail_Mix might be joking, National Geographic is not:

At one point I thought about a Poop & Kitty Litter Substrate. I think it has potential.

DAY 367

For filtration I'm usnig two old Dumpster Dive Marineland HOBs. I always toss the Cartridges that come with HOBs. On the right a large block of 10PPI foam I cut to fill the media box. On the left I've filled the media box with Growstones from my Aquaponic system. I've started some unknown Hydrocotyle Sp. and a pc of Anubias Coffeefolia rhizome in there.

This way I always have seasoned filter should I need to set up a Q-Tank. Also both filters have 10PPI foam over the intakes to act as Fry/Shrimp protectors.
