hows florida?

My sisters family live 40mins away from miami and my parents are retiring and planing to move to florida as well. I own and work as a breakfast cook in philadelphia. Its good business and I have knowhow my sister said its gonna be a good idea I open up a food restruant in there. What do u guys think?
I will visit florida on thanksgiving holiday and I will think about it
Also I guess its much better to raise fish. Right?
Can u guys teach me big lfs or importer in miami

Good food will always be in demand anywhere you go. You will have to learn about the pro/cons of running a food related business in FL. There may be regulations/permits/laws that PA doesn't require.

+1 I found Florida to be one of the strictest states when it comes to restaurant industry regulations.

Miami is expensive IIRC. And Floriduh's unemployment rate is pretty high at 8.7% in September

Although the national rate fell sharply last month from 8.1 percent to 7.8 percent, the state did not pick up much of the benefit. In Palm Beach County, the unemployment rate fell 0.4 percentage points to 9.2 percent. Martin County dropped 0.3 to 9.4 percent and St. Lucie County sank 0.6 percent to 11.7 percent. Those rates are not seasonally adjusted and should not be compared directly to the state seasonally adjusted figure.
