Fastest 'scape?

I got 2 Bettas under deplorable conditions. Separate jars, but not even a gallon of water between them both. No water changes for at least 2 weeks. No heater, no filter, no live plants...

I just moved my 20 long (drained, removed equipment, plants and substrate) back into my house (it was out in the fish room, not a heated room).
Set up, fill, 'scape including making a DIY divider.

1 hour.

This included dealing with a problem (when is there not a problem?)
The HOB filter settled down into the bucket with the wet substrate.
The part that says 'Do Not Submerge'
That is also the part that says 'Do Not Remove Cover'. So I did. (remove cover).
Got it dry, though I do not see that some water would have been a problem, this motor chamber was filled with that resin-stuff.

One fish got a piece of Manzanita and 2 rocks. The other fish got one rock.
They got an assortment of plants including Vals, Guppy Grass, Myrio, Frogbits, Duckweed (I got green polka dots), and a couple of stems that I cannot ID. Lets see what makes it, there is less light in here than in the fish room.

They now have:
20 gallons to share
Separated by a divider
filter (running slowly- they probably cannot handle much current)
the footprint of about quardruple what each had before
Stuff to explore

The no longer have:
Plastic plants (silvery white or pink)
Clear glass marble substrate
scummy water
1 quart to 1/2 gallon of water
tiny bowls you think they will miss their old homes?

Good stuff. I wish I could save all the betta's. lol. I hate how people think they need a small glass to live in.
20g platy, , 2 x 10g shrimp, 3 x 20g shrimp, 7.5g shrimp and 1 great dane/mastiff puppy.

Sorry, no pics. Rotten camera. It does not do indoor shots.

Got home from church and the 2 fish are on the same side of the divider, just hanging out. This is odd, because they flared at each other through their jars.
Tank is warming up, too. Going slowly with that.
It is also less cloudy, I can actually see into it about 3/4 of the way!
