mts and algae on glass?

Do mts eat algae on the glass?

I would like them to take care of the debris on the substrate, but I won't get them if they eat algae on the glass.

Every once in a while I'll see mine on the glass, but they are normally hidden in the substrate.

My tanks still get algae on the glass, and I have (and hate) MTS.
