ill be shipping some back to you once it takes over along with the s repens i promised i trimmed the s repens the other day in my emersed setup to have them proprogate faster...but then again im considering making a purchase on fresh ones out of a tank from a guy on this forum.

i honestly dont know why people kill for hc over elatine :P...hc is one hard plant to grow...never successfully grew carpets of it...if anything it just died...this stuff grips like a mother and fills in way quicker. Ill keep a weekly journal and show that this stuff can prob fill in within a month.

Hi, joined so I could connect to more fish tank people.

I currently have 2 planted tanks, a 10g with breeding red cherry shrimp and pygmy cories(I'm attempting to breed them), my other is a 15g dirted tank.

I also have one 55g marine tank and a 5g hawaiian red shrimp tank.

I'm hoping to do crystal red and black shrimp some day soon as well as discus.

I will, right now I am doing progress video on how fast frogbit grows on a newly dirted tank. Also my other tank has java fern floating every where so it looks messy but ill take a picture once it's gone.

Here is a tank(tall one) I trying to figure some thing out. I wanted to do breeding pair of discus but i believe my tank may be to small.

It's next to a 29 gallon for size reference, it's 47 gallons

welcome to the forum Jon i could do some serious damage with a tall tank like that!!LOL can't wait to see what you do with it. if you wanna get into discus, "discusonly" is the man you want to talk to. there are very few people who i give this compliment to, but he really knows his $hlt!!!

12/01/2012 Update. Plants slowly filling in...algae at minimum...today during water change i accidently added the wrong ammt of kh2po4 so i have tripple the kh2po4 and algae is covering the tank now :l

dude,.....that looks awesome!! and your algae probably started growing long before you o.d.'d on kh2po4.

no it didnt thats the scary part...tank was crystal clear until i dosed the ammt of kno3 in replace of kh2po4 :O!!!

then it had to be on the verge and that just pushed it over. it shouldn't have been that noticeable in less than a day
