Am considering using the Jungle Fungus Cure in her permanent tank while it is stripped of live plants.

Has anyone used it for bettas? I used a half dose of Betta Fix for her (the same dose I used back in the summer which helped her without damage) yesterday.

Today I only used aquarium salt in her 100 % water change.

Blackwater extract is almost ready, just needs to cool a little more and have Prime added.

Yours is a Goldie? One of the Goldies at my workplace is I'll, and won't eat even if I soak the flakes in garlic juice.

My girl is still spunky, though pale bc of the change in tank size.

noooo you boiled the IAL? D:

throw a few fresh ones in there. boiling gets rid of some of the antifungal/bacterial properties

Petco Union Sq usually has Active-Flora (or something similar) and sometimes Ecocomplete. I think i saw some in the 86st store so i assume most stores are similar.
Not sure but i think Pacific has flourite.

Well, this is why I'm getting a tank full of water sprite from Albert ... she doesn't eat that. I've got Java fern that she doesn't touch, but it doesn't grow very fast. She ate all the duckweed I put in - nearly exploded, too.

And ... yeah. Daily water changes ... they're why I decided not to get another betta.

No way D: i (almost) never change my betta's water!

Yeah, but you're, like, the plant princess. I find the hardiest, toughest plants out there, look at them, and they die on me. I've killed duckweed! I mean, it grows for me now, but I had a tank full of dying duckweed.

I would one day like to have another betta. Just not right now.

I'm a plant killer too >_> I have a tank full of death at the moment. Java moss, marimo, sprite...all dying ^_^

My betta is alive and kicking and I don't mind daily water changes at all. I can nurse sick fish but I kill healthy plants

Funny you say that. because I swear I've only ever killed the hardiest of plants..anubias, javaferns, elodea and whatever else. lolololol

The link I went to said to soak and then boil then soak and boil.

She has fresh/dried unboiled ones in with her always.

Petco has it on their website but I've never seen it at union sq nor 86th. Will definitely check again though. BTW, pacific definitely has flourite...that's where I've bought it in the past, but they are WAAAY overpriced there!

Yea I see it at 14th st, its uhh.. on one of the middle endcaps- across from the fish, next to the feeders I believe.
