DIY Driftwood I made

Just wanted to share some driftwood pieces I made of a japanese maple tree.

It was all fresh wood so I had remove the bark. With some I carved it off, others i power washed. My next step is to let it dry.

This piece is less than 10 inches

This is the biggest piece. Around 30 inches

I plan of using the largest piece of driftwood in this tank.

Nice work, I am currently trying to make some driftwood myself I didn't pull the bark off though it's some kind of oak tree judging by the leaves but it is soaking in a hot tub shell right now ill soak it for a week or two then dry it, bake it, and soak it again

Maybe that will loosen the bark. Could you let me know how it works out for you?
